GRATITUDE/APPRECIATION ATTRACTS BLESSINGS
The Gospel today teaches us the lesson of gratitude. One among the ten lepers who approached Jesus was a Samaritan. Leprosy was considered a curse or punishment in Jesus’ time, but Jesus showed them the merciful face of God.
However, the Gospel says, only the Samaritan returned as he received healing to show his love and gratitude to Jesus. It is sometimes difficult to say ‘thank you’ to someone who has done good to us. Whenever we fail to be grateful to God or to others, we bear the burden of leprosy in mind. Let us be grateful in our life. (My Daily Gospel 2019)
